Backups appear to hang
Thread needs solution
I am using ESET Nod32 8 with acronis true image.
I paid for an acronis person -- very nice and competent to reinstall and optimize the software/backup schemes and settings.
However, it is still sluggish, and does not appear to be able to make the first full backup.
It does not appear to be able to stop one either. I am wondering if anyone else has any insight about this problem.
I did disable the antivirus realtime scanner. This does not seem to help. Stopping the job did increase the progress bar to 1 hour and 4 mins.
