Backups not completing due to computer going to sleep.
How do I configure Windows or Acronis so that my backups complete on time? I'd like to keep normal power management features, but I was backing up a 1tb drive (nearly full) and it stopped about ~1hr in because of the computer going to sleep or hibernating, so it seems like they are incompatible and I had to turn off automatic sleeping/hibernating.

I have been fighting this design flaw ever since the advent of Acronis. They seem not to care. The only way to prevent sleep is to run a scheduled backup. Oh, you do not want that, tough as it is what it is and despite promises to consider a setting change it has not happened.
If you do not want to run a scheduled then you must go to control panel/power settings and select a power setup that does not sleep or at least does not sleep during the amount of time it takes to do a backup.
I do not see this changing any time soon if ever. This is unfortunate and wrong in my opinion.
