"Backups" (virtual machines) reappear in backup list after removed

Thread needs solution

I have 3 virtual machines (VirtualPC 2007, .vhd files). These are not backups. They are not to get backed up. They are specifically excluded in my backups.

When I start ATI2012, these VMs show up in the list of backups under the "Backup and recovery" tab. So I remove them because they are NOT backups. They stay removed for awhile but eventually they show up again and I have to remove them again.

Is there anyway to stop ATI2012 from seeing .vhd files as backups (because they are NOT backups)?

Maybe it could help to disable the Search for backups at startup which is a newly introduced option in build 7119. Since ATIH is fully compatible with *.vhd files these are displayed as backups.
On the Backup and recovery tab click on the double gear wheel and in the menu you can disable this option.
