Blue Screen on IPOD SYnc

Thread needs solution

I posted this in another (incorrect) forum with no response. It should have been posted here.

I am running Home Image 2009 and experiencing the blue screen issue with synching an IPOD that many have reported.

About a month ago, based on a post, I updated my 2009 SW since the problem was supposed to have been fixed. The issue indeed went away but it is now back.

Is there a known solution to this issue that does not involve me paying for a new version?

Thank you for finding time to report about the issue on Forum. I entirely understand your concern, and will do my best to assist you.

I have carefully checked all our internal resources, and found no mention of a known issue that would match your description and would be related to Acronis True Image Home 2009. We had a similar issue with Acronis True Image Home 2010 - you can find the details here.

Unfortunately Acronis True Image Home 2009 is an outdated product, it's not updated, developed and supported anymore, so our support team won't be able to investigate the issue with this version of Acronis Home Line product.

The only thing I can advise is to either unplug the iPod and reboot the machine or  remove Acronis True Image Home 2009 from your machine, and test    Acronis True Image Home 2011 to see whether the issue is present.
