Boot CD - Swiss German keyboard

Thread needs solution

Hi
I have an English license key for ATI 2011 and have successfully produced a Boot CD. My PC has a Swiss German (not German) keyboard and as the ATI 2011 CD is with an English keyboard, it is somewhat of a pain to keep looking up keyboard mappings for special characters.
Is there any way to change to a Swiss German keyboard after boot?
Thanks and regards
Rudi

Hello Rudolf,

Thank you for posting and welcome to the forum. I will definitely help you.

I am not sure how compatible your Swiss German keyboard is to a regular German or French keyboard, but I can send you a download link for either one of these. They can be installed with your current English serial number and you can then change the language in the bootable media by pressing Ctrl-Shift.

Unfortunately we do not have Swiss German language in our software but if you could let me know which other language would be convenient for you I can send you that version via a private message.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

Thanks Anton
I do have the German version of the download media, but it is quite different from the Swiss German one when it comes to special characters like \ / etc. I can get by using the English media and a printout of the US keyboard mappings.
It would be a nice feature to add to the bootable media though.
Thanks and Regards
Rudi

Hello Rudolf,

Thank you for the follow-up.

I can imagine how useful it would be if the bootable media had multilanguage support. I will submit an enhancement request to our Customer Listening System so that we can implement this feature in a future version of our program.

Let me know if you have any other questions please.

Thank you.
