Boot Disk See USB but not .tib file

Thread needs solution

USB is recognized when browsing for backup file. Click on USB drive and shows no files or even folders. I tried all USB ports (2.0usb) on the laptop, i try both FAT32 and NTFS file systems. Nothing seems to be working....any idea. Thanks

I have not experienced that behaviour. Are you certain you are browsing the correct disk? Disk letter assignments will differ in the Rescue Media environment from what they are in Windows. Also, don't just open the drive (via clicking the little arrow icon beside the drive name); you must actually select the drive (try double-click) and continue doing the same to drill down into folders.

It wasn't that, i finally figured it out. It wouldn't see the files in FAT32 so when i formated the USB drive to NTFS on a MAC it wouldn't allow me to transfer the backup onto it. So i had to keep the USB drive FAT32 w/ .tib file, transfer the file to a Windows OS machines, saved .tib file to desktop. Formate USB drive to NTFS on Windows OS, upload .tib file to USB drive. After doing that everything worked out fine.
