Boot from Startup Recovery Manager (F11) - True Image Home Boots into Garbled GUI

I've read the Knowledge Base #3836: Acronis Bootable Media of Acronis True Image Home Boots into Garbled or Low Resolution GUI

But I want to use the Boot from Startup Recovery Manager (F-11) and on one of my Dells at home it provides a good image of the first screen where I tell it to go to Acronis, then it ends up with a screen display that is very fuzzy shades of gray - readable but only barely. This doesn't happen to our Dells at work.

Any ideas of how to fix this? It's not an issue of screen resolution per se, but something odd with the graphic display.
