Bootable CD does not detect the new OCZ PCIe SSD (Revo3 X2)

Thread needs solution

I Have the new OCZ Revo3 X2 240GB SSD (PCIe slot #2 x16). Win7 Pro 64bit detects the new SSD after the new drivers are downloaded and installed. Acronis TIH detects the drive in the windows environment. However, when booting up via F11 or the Bootable media Rescue CD (ISO), Acronis TIH does not detect the drive. I suspect that Acronis has not written the software (ISO) to look for a drive that is intalled in a PCIe slot and/or they have not included the appropriate OCZ driver support for the Revo3 X2 PCIe SSD.

As this is the hottest performing SSD currently on the market, I am surprised to not see something written about this issue. I have contacted Acronis Tech support (case 01385764) three times about this and they have not been able to come up with any solution that works, to include builing a WinPE CD to boot from. I even burned a CD from the updated ISO Build #6131. Still, no luck, and I don't think the Acronis team even knows anything about this new OCZ PCIe SSD (Revo3 X2).

Waiting to hear from somebody who has had the same issue.

You got it --- Revo driver (think they still use the SI raid chip) needs to be added to the iso. I seem to memember something in the kb on how to augment the iso. I had to go through this with 2011 and X2.

I have the same problem that Rich with OCZ Revo3 X2 240GB SSD (PCIe slot #2 x4). Win7 Pro 64bit detects the new SSD after the new drivers are downloaded and installed. Acronis detects the drive in the windows environment but the Bootable media Rescue on my USB Key Acronis TIH does not detect the drive...
Today, has Acronis a solution for this issue ?
