Bootable CD does not support Marvell SATA 88SE9172

As a long time user of Acronis, I'm trying ATIH 2012 for the first time with my new system, built from Gigabyte GA-P67X-UD3-B3.
Just sharing the fact that the Marvell 6 Gb/s SATA controller on this board is not supported.. BUT if I move the hard drive to one of the Intel P67 ports, it detects the hard drive.
Unfortunately, Acronis is 0 for 2 on this board, even after resolving above it doesnt see the network adapter (see #24551, entered by Dexter Holland on 9/2).
