Bootable ISOs

Thread needs solution

Not a TI problem, more a hopefully useful heads up. With so many smaller devices not having optiical drives these days I've been using EasyBCD to boot into any of half a dozen different bootable ISOs. The ISO files can be stored on a flash drive or in a small partition on the hard disk. This is a real boon as it literally takes Just a minute of so to add a new ISO to the boot menu, such as an updated rescue CD, and of course bootup times are greatly reduced as the ISO is read into RAM first and booted from there. Highly recommended.

Yup EasyBCD (free software from NeoSmart) works great with bootable ISOs. I do wish it worked with XP PCs, but for those I use YUMI and put boot capabilities/menu onto the drive where I keep my backups.

I use Xboot to create a USB flash drive containing multiple bootable ISOs, including ATI Rescue Media. Xboot is relatively simple to use and requires no installation.
