Bought 4TB drive to replace 2TB C: After cloning the 4TB became a 2TB drive. Help!

Thread needs solution

Sorry in advance for the clumsy subject phrasing.
I purchased a 4TB drive and formatted it as NTFS and partitioned it using GPD. The reported capacity was 3.7...TB or so.

Cloned the 2TB C: (NTFS MBR) on my computer to this new drive and the result is that the new 4TB drive is now reported as 1.9TB So I have a slight bit more space but not enough to warrant the expense and time.

Is there a way to ensure that the cloned drive maintains the larger capacity even though the source drive is MBR? (Or put another way, can MBR drive content be cloned to a GPD drive? Will a GPD drive boot in a Windows 7 environment?)

This is the entire reason that I bought Acronis. I hope that someone can help with this problem.
Thanks in advance.
