BSOD (often "tdrpm238.sys") a few seconds after starting a backup

Thread needs solution

Just upgraded to build 7046 of TI Home 2010. It doesnt matter whether I start TI from XP, RecoveryManager or boot disk. It takes just a few seconds of a started backup when the machine stops or BSOD appears. Often the driver tdrpm258.sys is mentioned by the system to cause the trouble.

While I do find some topics in different forums I never read a solution or even suggestions how to go about. I'm really lost. Any hints or links available?

Hello casacki,

Thank you very much for your post and I would like to welcome you to the forum. I will do my best to assist you.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience, currently each issue with BSOD requires individual investigation and this we have no known solutions to this problem.

I would recommend to contact our Support team who will investigate and resolve this issue in Windows.

Please include these 2 reports:

1. AcronisInfo.

2. Windows Mini-Dump.

As for the boot disk reboot, if your machine is a Dell computer, please let me know and I will send you a download link for the "custom" version that fixes this issue.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
