Build 6613 - "Acronis True Image is terminating the current operations, please wait." ..... Forever

I'm on Build 6613.

"Acronis True Image is terminating the current operations, please wait.The computer will be turned off automatically in about 2 minutes"

Yes, this message lasts forever, I come in the next morning after staying on all night and shut down my conputer by holding the power button until it shuts off. This happen almost every day when I shut down.

I don't know that it would help but I believe I would update the scheduler.

I have the same problem as electrafast. No scedule is programmed!!!
If the computer is connected to internet by WiFi it swiches off.
If no WiFi connection is available the computer hangs like described by electrafast

This bug is known to the Acronis community for a quite long time (https://forum.acronis.com/search/apachesolr_search/operations%20are%20i…). Who knows if ever there will be some fix for it. Perhaps some people may find a workaround that works in specific circumstances but Acronis should tell what's really happening behind the scene. In my case, I used only manual backups and I always close Acronis application before shutting down the computer. In addition, I also disabled 2 services related to Non-stop Backups or syncing (that I didn't need). And yet, I still did see the annoying message: "Acronis True Image is terminating the current operations ....." on 2 different laptops !!! It is up to everyone to consider the potential benefits and the risk of using this unpredictable software. I had many other issues with Acronis (https://forum.acronis.com/forum/100758) and I could nothing but uninstall this crap from my computer. It is indeed ridiculous that Acronis company has really no support.

I have similar problem of ATI 2015 build 6613 in Windows 7 after the updating in August and reinstallation in September 2015.

Somes discussions can be found in case 94506 of the forum. The problem can be serious because the normal shutdown is affected.

I am trying the solution as follows:

1. In the Windows list of services, set these 2 services: Acronis Nonstop Backup Service and Sync Agent Service to Manual.

2. The Acronis Scheduler2 Service was also set to Manual but it restarted when the ATI program was ran. The later shutdown appeared to be not affected.

3. To avoid the problem, check that the 2 services are stopped after closing the ATI program and just before shutdown of Windows.

 

 

When is Acronis going to FIX this bug which appears everytime we shut down or restart?

"ACRONIS TRUE IMAGE IS TERMINATING the CURRENT OPERATIONS, PLEASE WAIT - 2 MINUTES"

I think that the Acronis engineers should take note of these comments and fix this issue AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE in order to show reliability and

and efficiency with their product.

Many customers will think it twice before renewing their Acronis subscription and/ or ask for a refund if this is NOT going to be settled as soon as possible.

We want to shut our computers as usual in a couple of seconds. We are paying our  Acronis subscription for a good program which have its support available.

DEAR ACRONIS Ltd.  take action before it will be too late.
