Build 6857 - STD/Plus Pack Recovery ISO... Need driver support

Thread needs solution

Finally after all these months the latest recovery ISO will actually load on my computer without the kernel crashing during load. So I can actually run Acronis off the boot CD - a small but positive step in the evolution of ATIH 2011.

The bad news.... It STILL does not support the embedded Gigabyte Ethernet NIC on my motherboard. I need driver support for:

"Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller"

How do we get a recovery CD ISO that will actually work on our hardware? Do I need to resort to the tried and true (yet cumbersome) method of building a WinPE based recovery CD?

Hello James,

Thank you for your message. I will do my best to assist you.

Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience. I did not find any cases related to this issue that is why most likely this specific hardware problem was not registered in our internal tracker.

However, I would like to help you with this issue. Could you please get back to me with these two reports:

1. Windows System Information from that computer with the Gigabyte NIC.

2. Acronis system reported using ATIH 2011 bootable media latest build 6857 from the same machine.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
