Build 7046 Bootable Media - Intel DH55TC/I3 CPU compatibility ?
Recently upgraded my primary desktop to a new Intel DH55TC motherboard and I3 processor. I'm using Acronis TI Home Build 7046. I've
created a new bootable media CD-R.
If I test the disk on an older Intel MB/Chipset + CPU the disk works properly. However if I try to use on the newer platform it nevers makes it past the text startup message. ( Before TI GUI appears. )
The BIOS settings related to Drive support are "Legacy" and not AHCI or RAID.
I really depend on the Acronis Bootable CD-R and need to be able to recover this new(er) PC with the boot media ?
Is this a known issue that might have a solution.
I do like the new ability to convert tib modules directly to MS VHD.

Hello,
Let me help you.
Gary, thank you very much for your help, you're absolutely correct.
Randall, please try solutions suggested above by Gary. You can find the detailed instructions below:
Downloading Acronis Bootable Media
Working with Acronis True Image Plug-In for BartPE
Adding Acronis Plug-In to WinPE 2.x or 3.0
Please reply to this thread if you need any further assistance.
Thank you.

Thanks.
I downloaded both TI 2010 and Disk Mgmt 10 Iso modules.
Both worked fine in my new desktop setup. Only downside
is having to use 2 separate disks, instead of the older boot
media that had both products combined.
I never noticed that there was Boot Media updates for the
products, along with the base programs themselves.

Randall-
If you would like to have both True Image and Disk Director on one bootable disk, this is possible with a BartPE build.
In addition to the references Ilya mentioned, you can look at these instructions for Disk Director with BartPE:
http://kb.acronis.com/content/1752
This procedure is more involved in that there is no plug-in provided, but a BartPE build can be developed with both products. I haven't done this yet myself (it is on my planned investigations list).
