Can Acronis do this?
I had a 160GB mirrored raid system (hardware raid) and wanted to install two 1TB disks. I made a backup but the restore didn't work right and then ended up nuking the back up (d'oh!).
I still have both 160GB drives but after mounting one of them in a USB docking station I can't get the two to boot any more.
The 1TB drives are installed (mirrored raid still) and I want to do essentially a mirror copy from one of the 160GB drives (the one I haven't mounted in Windows presumably) such that all my old programs, settings, etc. are intact.
Can Acronis do that for me?
Thanks.

Hello Dan,
Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.
Let me assist you.
With Acronis True Image you can create an image of your drive and then restore it to your new RAID. However, you'll need Acronis Plus Pack (that is a separate paid add-on) to do this, since you're going to migrate to a different hardware.
You can download the trial version of the software and try it. The functional limitation of Acronis True Image Home trial version is that you can only restore and validate an image when you run the program from the bootable media. Windows version is functional for 15 days only and it does not have any more limitations.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
