Can I Clone a Raid1 2 Disk to a non raid hard drive

Thread needs solution

I have a win7 64bit raid 1 - 2 disk system and want to create a backup(clone) on a third non-raid drive. Is this possible with Acronis True Image 2012?

We are talking about a full disk and partition backup, not about a clone.

If you have a hardware RAID, and your disk doesn't contain an OS, you can try to restore your image to your single drive. Do not restore the MBR+track0. Prepartition your restore disk to match what you had on your RAID, then restore the partition only.

If you have a hardware RAID and your disk is bootable, you can try to restore your image just like the case of a data disk. Leave your disk controller as RAID in the BIOS. If you get a blue screen as your reboot, it means you will need the Plus Pack (and a new recovery Disk produced after you have installed the Plus Pack) to use Universal Restore and insert the right drivers during the restore process.

All restores should be done from the Acronis recovery CD.

If you have software RAID, RAID 1 is not supported by Acronis.
