can I recover data without the original full backup?

Thread needs solution

I have a client who had Acronis TI 11 running scheduled incremental backups onto a dedicated hdd. Eventually the disk filled up and he went and deleted all the older backups including the original full backup. His system drive has now failed and I need to get his data out of the incremental backups. Is there a way to recover any of the data from the new incrementals without having the original full backup? I'm rather desperate! Thanks

Hello Johen!

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad to greet you here!

I completely understand your concern and I'm very sorry for the inconvenience you've faced. I sincerely regret to inform you that in case the full backup, that put the beginning to the incrementals chain, is lost, there is no way to recover or extract the data.

Incremental image is not a backup of files, but of the sectors changed on the drive since the time of the latest incremental/full backup.
