Can i Use my Image on different computer with different hardware?

my image is from this..
OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate , Service Pack 1, 32 bit
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X3 440 Processor
RAM: 4 G
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS, 1024 Mb
Motherboard: Emaxx Technologies, Inc, EMX-MCP61D3-iCafe, V2.0,

can i use my image to this hardware?im planning to buy a laptop with this

No you cannot out of the box unless you have purchased the Acronis Plus Pack. This plugin needs to be installed on top of Acronis True Image home. Then you can produce a new recovery CD that contains the Universal Restore feature. This will allow to point ATI at the drivers of your new computer while it restores.

Using Universal Restore is not really easy and doesn't always work, but it is the best alternative to reinstalling everything.

If you have the original Win 7 OEM DVD or a retail version you could first try to restore the image anyway, and then reinstall Win7. You might be able to keep your settings and programs. If this doesn't work, you will have to try the Universal Restore.

If you try to restore anything to the new laptop, remember to back it up first before erasing everything with the restore...
