Can You Update Your Clone Drive with Your Image drive?

Thread needs solution

I just made a Clone drive and my system is up and running just fine!

Now I was wondering... can I use my image file to update recent changes to my Clone drive?

If not... when I make another Clone, do I write over the existing clone or do I delete the clone and start fresh?

Thanks!

Yes, when you want to do another clone, you will have to write over the existing clone.

If you intend to backup your computer on a regular basis, consider using disk imaging.

Thanks Pat!

I use Disk Image Full Backup with daily increments as well!

What I was wondering is this.

If I have Image Backups that are backed up in increments on a daily basis, can I POP in my Clone and then use the Image Backups to "Add Too" my existing Clone or should I just do as you suggested and write over the old Clone?

Thanks!

No you can't or at least not as you may intend it. If you pop your clone or any other disk and restore an image, the image will overwrite whatever is on your target disk, whether a clone or blank disk.
Vice versa, if you were to pop your clone into the system and start/continue using Acronis, I would strongly recommend you start a new backup task.
