Cannot backup to a Windows Home Server , Connection failed.

Thread needs solution

Using: Acronis True Image Home 2011 Update 1 (build 6597)

Trying to backup to: Windows Home server

I have had the home server for about 4 years running and it is working perfectly and mostly use it for a file server , I have backed up to the Home server shared folders previously with TI Home 2009 with no issues at all. Never have I had any issues with the connection.

This is the first time I have tried to back up to it from TI 2011 and it will not connect , I have connected to the server from remote desktop and through the home server console and the password and logins work without issue , BUT for some reason TI 2011 will not connect and rejects the login info.

Shown in the picture I have attached you can see that the login is Administrator and is in place , and I have tested the password at least ten times other ways , it is correct.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

What about enabling the guest account on the WHS as suggested here http://forum.acronis.com/forum/15742 ?

Thanks for the reply Pat , I will give this a try!

I do have the guest account enabled but it does not have access to all the folders , this may be the problem.
