Cannot Boot from Boot-Disc

Thread needs solution

Hallo,

ich have Acronis TI Home v14 bld 6696 installed on Win7 x64.
My 1. HDD is a SSD of Corsair Sata Force F60.
My 2. HDD is a Western Digital 500GB Caviar Green.
My Hardware an my Win7-Installation are complete new.

1. I tried to make a bootable Disk with Acronis but it is not possible.
After choosing "Acronis True Image Home" in the Media Builder, the Button to continue is not active.

2. Then I have tried a Booting-CD from a friend. It is also V14.
At the beginning of booting comes an Error "Acronis Loader does not find Boot-Partition..."

Why is it not possible for me to boot from a Disk?

Excuse for my englisch.

Item 1. The program is waiting for you to make selections from the left pane--most likely to choose the Full version. You can also choose them all which is fine.

item 2: Go to your Acronis registration page and check if your version has a "Bootable Media" option available.
If yes, download this iso file and burn it as an image onto a blank CD.
If no, contact technical support and see if can offer an alternate Rescue CD for your language version.

Item 1: It works. But the System doen't boot with the new Boot-CD.

Item 2: I have installed a trial version for testing it.
Technicak Support is only for registered users.

Where can I get alternative Bootable Media for testing?
I will not buy this product until I am secure, that it works.
I want to test, if I can restore the systempartition with the boot-media.

Hallo,

1. when I come to my accpunt I cant register my product, because it is trail (see att 2)

2. there is no difference between the boot image to download and the one i have meda at home (see att 1)
Why ahould it work?
But I cannot test itm because the is no download link!!!

Send your request for a different Rescue CD to the support person in the link below.

Be sure and specify the language version of TrueImage you need and also the brand of computer and which version of Windows.

I have sent a message how you told me 2 days ago.
But I didnt get a response.

Is it possible to get a special boot-cd elsewhere to get my ATIH booted?

Hi Roland,

Unfortunately, aside from getting a new ISO from Acronis support, you are left with options that are significantly more complicated to use and not free. If you feel very comfortable with computers, you can consider:
- http://forum.acronis.com/forum/17630, for the mustangPE environment,
- purchase the Plus Pack and create a WinPE environment.
