Cannot connect to the sync server...

Thread needs solution

Hi!

For a couple of weeks now I've not been able to sync anything because I keep getting this.. "Cannot connect to the sync server. The sync will be started automatically later. "

Well,

It's two weeks later and I still can't sync anything.

This has never happened before and I've been using Acronis True Image for many, many years and have purchased at least four versions.

This issue is concerning AcronisTrue Image Home 2015.

Some help would be awesome.

Is there no one out there that can shed some light on this "Cannot connect to the sync server..." issue?

Is that how it's gonna be? Pay and pay and pay and get no support?

8 years and at least four separate copies of True Image Home and it ends with no help, four usless copies of "Acronis True Image take your money and screw you in your own home 2015"?

I have the same problem and the same message. I can´t find a solution anywhere and acronis doesn´t seem to care. Could it be a W10 compatability issue? It seems as if needed an Acronis Cloud Subscription for the sync "only between computers" to work.

Hello all,

This type of error is shown when you are trying to sync without having a cloud subscription. In Acronis True Image 2015 an Acronis Cloud subscription is required to use the Sync feature.

Thank you for this "wonderful" answer. So I have to pay twice, one time for a license and a second time for using a feature. What a company...

When I create a sync, it specifically asks if it is with Acronis Cloud or between computers (in the same network, of course), when I go to the other computer it asks if I wnat to join the sync. It used to work fine, but anymore, even with the syncs already created. So...you are telling me that Acronis stopped supporting this feature on a software I already paid for?

This is exactly that Acronis tells us. I will definitely stopp using products from Acronis. This company is so unbelievable...
