Cannot install V 2015 because V 2010 will not uninstall

Thread needs solution

I purchased and downloaded the upgrade to ATIH 2015 but have been unable to install the upgrade.

When attempting to install ATIH 2015, I get the message:
"True Image 2015 for PC Installation Restricted.
Please uninstall True Image Home (version 10.0.4942 and try again)."

When attempting to uninstall ATIH 2010, it goes through the motions but ATIH 2010 remains installed, despite repeated attempts. WHY?

I previously installed Version 2011. It is the version currently being used.

Configuration:
-- Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit, with all the latest updates.
-- Both ATIH 2010 and ATIH 2011 appear to be installed. Only ATIH 2011 is being used (I thought ATIH 2010 was depreciated).

Your only choice appears to be to run the available TrueImage Cleanup utility
You will need to read the provided instructions carefully and perform the manual edits as described in the "common" instructions.
Be absolutely certain to perform a full and complete backup before you run the cleanup so you would be able to restore your system should the cleanup render your system unbootable.

Note that the error message
"Please uninstall True Image Home (version 10.0.4942 and try again)"
refers to a version three versions prior to version 2010 so even the cleanup utility may not resolve your issue.

Added Edit:
If you recently purchased your 2015 and within your 30 days of free support (30 days from date of purchase of 2015),
you can contact Acronis via their support link and they may be able to help you.
