"Cannot open computer" error when I boot Windows, no partitions found

Thread needs solution

When I boot, I get the notification "cannot open computer".  When I try to run a backup the source is blank and Trueimage just hangs.  If I try to set up source, there are no partitions found.  Tried uninstalling, re-installing with no change.  This worked OK a few days ago.

Windows 10 - latest release version

Trueimage 2015 - latest version

Earl, when exactly are you seeing the "cannot open computer" notification?  Is this when just booting into Windows 10 or when trying to launch the ATI 2015 application?

When you say "Windows 10 - latest release version" - what actual build version is this, i.e. the latest, non-Insiders version is 1709 for the Fall Creators Update.

For ATI 2015 the latest / final build was #6613 which should be shown on the Account / About page.

Windows 10 version 1709 build 16299, ATI build 6613

I follow the following instructions and used the clean up utility then re-installed and added my old backup.  It appears to be working OK now.

Earl, thanks for the update / feedback, glad that all seems to be OK again after doing a clean install using the cleanup tool.
