Cannot resume from hibernate--get error: Acronis Loader: No configuration file present
Last night I hibernated my Windows 7 64-bit, ASUS K60IJ laptop. Today, when I turned it on, I get the following error, and cannot get past it:
Starting Acronis Loader...
Acronis Loader: No configuration file present.
Press to reboot....
I have not initiated a backup in 3 months (traveled a lot), nor have I used Acronis True Image 2010 in 3 months. I don't know why this problem would show up now. I cannot update to a latest build or anything else, as Windows 7 will not start. I can boot from DVD #1 of my back-up, but it won't start Windows either (same error). I prefer to not restore from backup, as this is 3 months old, and I have some data I'd rather not overwrite.
Help!

Thanks! The Acronis product (bootable) CD booted fine. I couldn't find a way to de-activate the ASRM, but did find a button to "activate" it, which allowed Windows to boot.
Perhaps, after I activated it, it would have shown a deactivate button. I didn't look. I'm just happy to be up again, and plan to make a new backup image today.
Thanks again!
Ian
