CANNOT RETRIEVE MY BACKUPS

Thread needs solution

I had managed to backup all my data from my Windows 7 PC. I then upgraded my PC to Windows 8.1. Now, Acronis TrueImage 2014, of which I have a copy, is all but useless. I can retrieve my backup, but not all of it. Not only that, I decided to try retrieving only ONE large folder of data and store it back onto my PC. It would take HOURS UPON HOURS to do this, and it would fail to retrieve the entire folder. I CANNOT get my information off my Seagate FreeAgent Desktop backup disk, which has worked without fail in the past. In fact, the original software found on the Seagate FreeAgent Desktop works FAR, FAR better than this Acronis garbage. I am beginning to think I made a HUGE mistake purchasing this software. A shame I cannot get my money back.

The only solution would be to attempt to retrieve the data from the FreeAgent would be to try retrieving it bit by bit, which will take me MONTHS. Thanks, Acronis. I'll not be suggesting your product to anyone else. In fact, I'll ensure it never sells in my area.
