Can't backup NAS drive
I just reinstalled TI 2015 after a clean reinstall of Windows 10. Even though all my drive paths are the same, I've had to "reconfigure" my backups, and I cannot correctly reconfigure the backup for a NAS drive. The reconfiguration process requires network credentials - a userid and password. None of my PCs require id and passwords to access the drive. As fare as I know, Ive never defiined a useid and password associated with this drive.
Why is Acronis TI asking for this, and what do I give it?

The KB documents you pointed me to were not much help. But blind trial-and-error did. I tried using my Windows userid and no password as cedentials, and TI accepted it.
To answer your questions, yes, I can access files on the NAS with the Windows Explorer ("File Explorer" on Windows 10), and no credentials are requred.
I doubt it matters, but in my case the NAS files are the source, target of the backup.

Hello Patrick, thanks for feeding back that you have been able to solve this issue.
The one point of caution I would raise with regards to having no credentials on your NAS is the exposure that this can create for your data stored on the same should you have an aggressive virus or any form of ransomware infection on any of your connected systems.

Yes, I realise I have a security exposure, but I don't think security credentials on NAS folders are going to help very much. The NAS contains data that I access nearly continually. Any virus or ransomware would have as easy access to the NAS folders as to folders on local drives. What I really need to do is secure my backups which currently reside on a USB-connected external drive. I guess I could move the backup tarets to the NAS (or another NAS to reduce contention when backing up my current NAS-based forlders).
