Can't browse Windows server 20003 domain when booted from recovery media

Thread needs solution

We have a bunch of Acronis TI licenses for our users - 2011,2012,2013 and even workstation and echo. Most users boot from a recovery CD and image their workstations off to a NAS on a Windows server 2003 domain. It still works (all versions) but now your can't browse to the domain, the target server, and the share as you once could. If you type in \\server\share you get a login prompt and then you can type folder\subfolder\filename and make a backup (or restore one). Since it effects all versions and we are using existing CDs the problem is on the domain controller - not Acronis TI.

I don't think any policies changed on the domain, so perhaps a patch from Microsoft?

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks
