Can't configure email notification for hotmail!!

Thread needs solution

I can't seem to be able to properly configure the account settings for hotmail!!! I believe everything is correct, based on other posts, but it still does not work. I get a message saying that my email was not sent. I have disabled all security software and it makes no difference. Does anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad to greet you here! I understand your concern, and will do my best to help you.

Thank you for the screenshots attached. According to them all the settings are specified correctly, so probably the issue's caused by the port being blocked. Please check whether you can connect to your mail: 

Start -> Run -> cmd -> telnet smtp.live.com 25

If there's the black screen, then it's got connected and you can try to reattempt to send test notification message.

If there are any errors, then the port is blocked. As a workaround please try using port 587 for smtp - hotmail should work with it as well.

In case the issue remains anyway, please gather Acronis Info, screenshots and contact support directly with the information attached. Keep in mind that should there be any procrastination with the reply, you can always specify us the case number. We will do our best to speed up the process.

The "Backup now" button to Online storage doesn´t show and the menu button "Edit Online backup settings" is not enabled.
But I am logged in.

It is possible to Recover fron Online backup but I can´t do new backups...

What can I do?
