Can't delete backup off NAS

Thread needs solution

I am having a problem removing a file or deleting the file. I backed up a drive but accidentally got two drives checked. So I wanted to delete it and start again. When I go to the NAS where the backup is located I find it but when I hit delete it says "the action can't be completed because the folder is open in another program" I have closed everything and even rebooted but still wont let me delete that file. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Tom

Hello Tom,

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help. Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

Please download the freeware program Unlocker 1.8.8
Please make sure that Explorer extension box is marked during the installation.
Make right click on undesired file or folder and select Unlocker. If the file or folder is locked then a window will appear with a list of processes locking the file or folder. Select the locks and click Unlock.
After that you will be able to remove the file/folder.
