Can't edit settings of non stop backup ATI 2015 version
Hi All,
I have the 2015 full version installed. I have a non-stop backup was created with the 2014 version. I would like to add a new folder to the non-stop backup. Okay, I select it, click on Operations but I see only two choices:
1. Remove from the list
2. Delete.
Where is the Edit settings option?
Note: The Edit settings is available for normal full disk backup but not in the non-stop backup.
The help does not speak about how can I edit settings (i.e. add or remove a folder) of non-stop backup.
Thanks for your help!
Best regards
Louis

HI Colin,
If I had known that nonstop backup is not supported in the 2015 version then I had never upgraded the 2014 version…
My questions:
1. I could not create new non-stop backup in the 2015 version. Can you tell me how I can do this?
2. Can you tell me where the setup file of my existing non-stop backup is stored? Maybe it is a simple XML file and I can add the folder manually.
Many thanks,
Louis

In 2015, the non stop feature appears through the scheduling setting. Create a file or partition backup, then choose "non stop" as the schedule.

Thanks, that works with a new backup. But should not be an "Edit settings" command appear in the Options drop down menu of the non-stop backup? Okay, you can not set the schedule for a non-stop backup but you can add/remove folders for an existing backup. If this is not implemented in the 2015 version (why?) then may I hope that Acronis will add this option back, like it was in the 2014 version?

This is a bit of a necro however i have run into this issue with a NSB where i needed to add another folder to the backup but the edit settings button is completely missing i cannot edit the properties of the NSB

Mike,
I think you have to stop the NSB and basically start the set up all over again.

Hi Colin,
Well, this was what I did. I deleted the last NSB then added a new one. When you delete the old NSB your all NSB backups are also deleted. This is not good solution. I just wanted to to add a new folder to the exisiting NSB and keep the old backups. Why do not Acronis add back the Edit NSB settings button? I can't understand this.
Thanks,
Louis
