Can't Format True Image USB Drive

Thread needs solution

I had no idea that when I'd use my USB drive 64GB to backup a netbook that it would lock the USB drive after the operation. Nothing I've done - and I have wasted numerous hours - has been able to unlock or reformat this USB drive. Trying disk director resultsin a writer error. All the other registry hacks don't work. I'm hoping someone knows what can be done short of throwing away this 64GB USB drive to reformat or unlock it. Thank you.

hello, same probably here but for me it's a 4TB seagate that's locked up.  What can I do to get my disk back?

Please refer to the following link...in the link, the OP had the same problem.  The link contains a couple of suggestions on how to format a "locked" drive.  Please let us know if either of you are able to resolve your problem.
