Can't get automated backup tasks to run!

Thread needs solution

I have purchased 3 copys for 3 customers Two on Vista and one on XP.

I can't seem to get automated backup tasks to run consistently.

My settings are pretty simple:

whole disk backup
run daily
incrementel
new full backup every 7 days

I am really frustrated, after hours of trying to get the tasks to run the end result was I was not able to charge a setup fee due to it not fully working.

Can someone pleaseee help me here.

 Hello CPR Computers!

Thank you for finding time to report about the issue. I'm very sorry for you've faced this inconvenience, and I will be glad to help you.

Unfortunately due to the lack of information it's hard to identify the exact cause of the issue, but it looks like a Scheduler glitch. In order to resolve the issue please do the following

  1. Download Acronis Scheduler Manager. Open command prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd); run schedmgr.exe and issue the following command:
    task zap
This will erase all traces of all tasks.
  2. Update Scheduler as mentioned in this article
  3. Reboot the machine
  4. Recreate the tasks

Should the problem remain, please gather Acronis Info and System ReportAfter that please kindly contact support directly with the information attached.
