can't intialize c drive error message

after acronis 2014 startsup i select the clone disk option but i am getting an error message saying my computer cannot be initialised. i have entered the error code in the knowledge base and it said to download an update, which i have done, but no joy.
error code: 0x000101F4+0x00100005+0x00000009+0x00000002+0x0000FFF0+0x80070002
on windows 8.1
