can't restore backup

Thread needs solution

hi!
i would restore my backup. So i used "bootable media rescue" on a USB and restart my PC. The .tib file was in another USB. At startup i press F11, chose the .tib but when i had to choose the HDD my only HDD was unable to be selected. I think because it's "unlabeled"

so what i've to do?

Riccardo,

I'm confused! :)

Do you have a USB stick with the bootable files on it plus a USB drive or two USV drives one which boots the PC?

What version and build of TI are you using?

Is this a brand new hard drive that you are trying to restore to?

Is the harddrive you are restoring to a Sata or IDE?

I won't be able to reply to your answers tonight, as I'm off to bed shortly.

tomorrow i'll leave to prague so i can wait for the answer

I made a backup of my SO (win xp) of my netbook (eeepc 701) and move the .tib file onto a usb; i made a bootable SD with "Bootable Rescue Media Builder" . Then i cleanup the hard disk from the bootable SD and when i selected my .tib backup for restore it, i wasn't able to select my hard disk

This is my first problem, because before i restore in this way

I'm using "Acronis True Image Home 2010"

EDIT: i re-installed XP and my hdd was called "G:" instead of "C:" why?
