Can't uninstall

Thread needs solution

On my XP computer I used to have True Image 2009, and now I just installed True Image 2011.

Unfortunately it got itself into a total mess with these two versions. So I want to completely uninstall both versions and completely clean install True Image 2011.

My problem is that in Windows XP Control panel, the True Image 2009 Uninstall and the True Image 2011 Uninstall programs both fail with fatal errors, and abort themselves without completing the uninstall process.

So my question is how can I properly uninstall both these programs, and then get my computer back into a clean state, so that I can clean install True Image 2011 properly?

My suggestion would be to restore your system partition (Drive C) back to when 2009 was working satisfactorily and then use the uninstall option from the Add Remove program. If you have Plus Pack installed, uninstall it first. If installed, the PlusPack is listed under "P" in the Add/remove section.

I can't do that, because both versions of True Image are "half uninstalled" and neither of them works. I need to properly remove those applications in the "normal" way...
