Caught in an infinite loop - "A new version is available"
I've installed True Image Home 2015 for PC and Mac Upgrade (3 computers) (English) on top of an existing 2014 Premium version. It's a PC with Win 7.
It says "Build 6525. A new version is available. Download and install". I follow the instructions, it goes through the installation, I start it up and the same warning message about a new version appears. Repeat again and again - no change.
The application has successfully installed - it's just that the warning messages don't go away.
I've also tried downloading the installation package from acronis.com and installing from that. No difference.
I haven't tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but I'd prefer not to do that if possible.
How do I fix this please?

Thanks for your reply Ramhound. I'd prefer not to uninstall and reinstall because I have three backup schedules that I then have to re-enter and configure (about 5 mins each). True Image has always installed properly over the previous version since I started using the 2010 version. And rebooting - that's certainly the first thing I do for any PC problem :)
Still, if there is no other option I will uninstall and reinstall this weekend when I have more time.
