Change keyboard for rescue disk

Thread needs solution

Hello

I am using True Image 2013 french version. The rescue CD it creates use a french AZERTY keyboard.

Problem: I have a swiss french keyboard, which is different. Not only QWERTZ instead of AZERTY, but all special characters are somewhere else. When trying to access to an image protected with a password, no chance to type it in correctly.

Question: how can I change the keyboard used by the rescue disk?

Thanks
Patrick

PS: same question to ATI 2011 (and no answer) under http://forum.acronis.com/forum/30220

 Hello Patrick,

Thank you for posting this question. I am happy to give you an answer.

Since Acronis True Image Home 2012 Update 2, Acronis Bootable Media supports Swiss keyboard layout for French, German and Italian versions in addition to English layout. You will find it as well in True Image 2013. In order to switch to the Swiss layout, press Ctrl + Shift twice. You will then see the SW letters in the right bottom corner. Earlier versions of True Image do not support Swiss layout and this will not be implemented.

Let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
