Changing partition sizes....TI2014 under Win7

Thread needs solution

Currently, I back up three partitions onto two external drives.

On the drive with two partitions, I want to increase one of the partition sizes and reduce the other. Each by the same amount, about 50-100GB.

Both partitions contain Image files.

Is it OK to carry out these changes using Disc Management, or must I get rid of the existing backed up files, re-size and start again?

Regards.....

If the two partitions are adjacent to each other and no other partitions in betweeen, this could help.

The problem with using Windows is that any move is immediate whereas a tool such as Partition Wizard referred to a bove by Jerry offers the ability to look at what have done and then to implement the change or to cancel and start over.

Many thanks Jerry and GroverH.

I have not implemented yet as the back up is still working. However, I will have to soon!
