Check LAN drive connection before backup

Hi,

I have defined a few backups to a LAN drive which should run monthly. But before they actually start, Acronis should check if the LAN drive is connected. I tried to run a batch file as a pre command, but it does not work from inside Acronis. When started via the command line it works. Acronis did not even show the output window from the batch file :(

Is there any chance to check the connection to the LAN drive before the backup. Maybe with an message that LAN drive should be powered on?
