Thread needs solution

I am using Acronis Home 2010 and still find it 'clunky' to find my way around. How do I manage to delete or consolidate archives stored in ASZ? Can anyone help. Thanks

Unfortunately, ATI is not good at deleting individual backup versions in an full, incremental or differential. The way to do it is to click on the "explore all versions" link or the "explore and recovery" button. This will launch a window called "backup explorer". At the bottom of that window, you will see a timeline with squares representing versions. In theory, you would right click on one version and click delete, and... not manate to delete it...

The more radical approach is to delete the entire backup task. This will delete all the TIB files attached to the task.

You could try to use the move command to move the backup files out of the ASZ, delete the ones you don't want, and start a new task within the ASZ.

One problem with the ASZ is that you cannot delete files manually and you cannot move the files out of there manually.
