Clarification on comments logged in image

Thread needs solution

Comments that can now be added after the image file was made (in earlier versions you could insert he comment as part of the backup settings BEFORE the image was created). Are these stored in the tib file or in the acronis backup list that has a reference to the tib file?

If it i stored in the program itself., what happens is when we restore the last image the rollback will not contain that tib file reference in the backup list and the comment is lost (unless you re-imaged after addding the comment and restored that image)

Is this understanding quite right?
Is there anyway we caninsert a comment before creating image?

Here is an Acronis KB article on comments. I am not aware of any comments being lost after a restore. Maybe someone else can answer your question.

Another KB "how to's" listing can be found in my signature below in a green colored link.

Sanjit is correct. Since you can only add comments after the image is generated it is not restored when you restore the image. I can't believe anybody thought that was a good idea.
I have relied on the comments heavily while using TI 9 Home and this first use of 2011 caught me by surprise.
I submitted official feedback and I hope many others do so we can get this fixed.

It should be returned to adding comments BEFORE the image, whether you can later edit it or not.
