Clean Up Sync Process
Folks,
I have a "data" drive that contains all my files and is approximately 800 Gb in size. I wanted to be able to Sync this drive with a USB drive so that I can take the drive with me when working at remote locations. However, the synchronization process is much to intrusive to my daily work. A schedule option that would allow ONLY synchronization at a predetermined time would be beneficial. Not constantly monitoring the drive for changes and then immediately applying the change. Unfortunately, this will not work for me and have decided to go with the product Allway Sync. This product provides much more flexibility than the Acronis Sync module.
I did an Unsync, but have some remnants left over in my system. Is there an executable you could provide that would remove everything the Unsync process may have set up? Thanks in advance for the help!
Regards,
Joe

Folks,
Is there any way to delete the Sync Task that comes in the True Image 2013 Synchronization tab? I prefer to have nothing in that tab.
Thanks,
Joe

When you start Acronis and log in within the application, the default Sync task always appears. If you are not using online backup or any sync tasks, you can logout of your account within True Image 2013 and it will not show up. There is no other way that I know of to get rid of this task. I also wish that there was a way to delete it. I use the Sync features, and you have to be signed in to your Acronis account to be able to do even local Syncs.

Joseph,
In addition to logging out of your account, disable the Acronis Sync service in services.msc.
