Clean up utility for TI 2014?
I am having trouble with W8.1 Update 1 on an system with an ASRock Z77 OC Formula MB and need to uninstall all the stuff I have added until I find the "bad" guy. I don't know if TI 2014 is causing the problem(s) but... I have W8.1 Update 1 running on two other systems without any problems. One main difference is those machines do not have TI 2014 installed.
Could someone please give me the link for downloading the TI Cleanup Utility for 2014. I can't seem to find where to download it. Thanks.
The problem(s) I'm having with W8.1 Update 1 is the desktop icons go blank midway through the cold boot process and "re-paint" after ~15 seconds. I also get Event ID 4 and then 3 for ReadyBoot and Circular Kernal Context Logger which may be the reason the icons go nuts for 15 seconds. Once the system boots it runs normally. Somebody has a conflict with Update 1 since I did not have a problem running W8.1.

Thanks for the link. I'd been to that page a couple of times and missed the download cleanup link embedded in the instructions. You made me look more carefully.

After much trial and tribulation and several Windows reinstalls I have Windows 8.1 Update 1 running on a system with Acronis TI 2014 and there are no problems - yet. Another MSFT W8 mystery solved? Anyway, it does not appear to be a problem with Acronis TI Build: 6673.
Spoke too soon, it looks like once I install Acronis TI 2014 and then do a system backup using the Windows version of TI the Windows 8.1 Update 1 goes back to the desktop Icon ~15 second "re-paint" issue when booting. I have reverted back to a copy of Windows 8.1 Update 1 with Acronis TI installed but never used to backup the system and the problem is not there. I'll run the system a couple days to prove to myself that it is truly is some conflict with Update 1 and TI that is the culprit. As long as I back up and restore using the stand alone version of TI all is well. Since I have Update 1 running on two Gigabyte systems with no Acronis TI installed I'll try installing TI on one of those systems and see if the Icon problem comes with it or is it just an ASRock/TI/Update 1 issue? At this point, after screwing around for several weeks with this issue, I'm 99% sure it has something to do with the Acronis TI installation and execution of a system backup running under Windows 8.1 Update 1. What is the best way to contact an Acronis TI technical support person?
The Saga goes on. The Icon problem came back. This time I uninstalled Acronis TI and the problem went away again! So it looks like I might have been right the first time - it is the install of Acronis TI that is causing the problem - it just takes several reboots for the problem to surface?! I'll keep exercising the system and hopefully the Icon problem will not come back.
