Please see topic: [IMPORTANT] CLONING - How NOT to do this!!! for guidance on this subject.

It is not recommended to attempt cloning by starting from within Windows, you should be using the Acronis bootable Rescue Media for this task.

Okey?

How do I do that ?

I bought an kingston SSD, according to the manual it's say to Clone the disk. I dont have the fully edtition of Acronis. But I can see the option " Rescue Media Builder" and made a rescue "iso" file around 500mb. What am I suppose to do now?

Regards a noob

Daica, there are links in the original topic: [IMPORTANT] CLONING - How NOT to do this!!! I posted that have video tutorials of how to use both cloning and Backup & Recovery.

See:  KB documents: 56634: Acronis True Image: Cloning Disks and 1540: Difference between Backup and Disk Clone contain very important information on these subjects and should be read before embarking on these actions.

You should boot your computer from the Acronis Rescue Media but you need to create this either on a CD or a USB memory stick.  The .ISO image is just an image of the CD and cannot be booted directly - it has to be burnt to a CD for booting.
