Clone failing

I purchased a Curcial SSD and installed True Image (17.0.4515) with the goal of cloning my current HDD and being able to use the SSD drive to boot from. I am running Windows 7 with latest patches on a Dell 8700. The software ran fine and returned the result that everything was a go. When I shut down and disconnected the HDD and set the SDD as the boot drive in the BIOS, the boot sequence begins, I see the Windows Splash screen and then I get a blue screen with the error code 0x0000001E followed by all 0x0. I checked that the BIOS is the latest version (A10). I have run both the recover disk built in Windows 3 times and the one built from True Image, with no change. Any ideas?
