Clone No Longer Works

Thread needs solution

I have been using True Image 2015 for several months and bi-weekly cloning my lap top SSD to an external HD as a backup just in case. It has been working fine, but yesterday when I tried it aborted immediately after it started the cloning process.

I open the program, select Clone Disk, select the source disk, select the target disk, click on Proceed, click on Restart Now. The Acronis Loader starts, and briefly I see something like:
No Raid Volumes
No Volume Groups Found

It then starts the cloning process, and after about a minute crashes. I see a black screen with several outputs (white text) scattered across the screen. At the bottom is says something like generating report......, but then Report Not Saved, and it reboots back to Windows. No error messages!

I tried reinstalling but that made no difference. Again this used to work just fine.

I'm on a HP Pavilion Lap Top, Windows 7, i5 CPU, 4 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Problem Fixed :). I ran a chkdsk /r on my C: drive and now I can once again clone my C: drive to an external USB HD. There must have been a bad sector or link that caused the cloning process to fail. Unfortunately there were no error messages to indicate that. Acronis pleas take note.
