ok, thank you.
Does it work even with boot or os partition?
This mean that I need double time, one to make a copy and second to restore to a new hdd, right?

If you want to make a bootable disk then a full disk mode backup and restore is necessary. If you have other single partitions that are just data those can be backed up individually from a disk and will still function normally when restored.

so If I have 2 partition, one of 30 GB for os partition and an other of 100 GB of data partition and I want to clone only the os ones to a new hdd, you mean that I should backup both ( to a third hdd) and from this restore the os only to the new hdd?

In concept yes. This because a Windows install contains 1 or more hidden partitions that must be backed up along with the OS partition in order to make a disk that will boot. Remeber, that was the point, to make a bootable disk.
The application, when backup partitions option s chosen, will list or show all partitions on the disk including those that are so called hidden. To make a bootable disk the hidden partitions and the OS partiton must be backed up as a single backup file and that backup file can then be restored to create a bootable disk.

Don't use Clone. Do a full disk mode Backup, selecting the entire disk, and a Restore. The end result will be the same as Clone, but with many advantages.
