Cloned Disk fails to boot

I have just cloned my hard disk and all went OK until I connected the newly cloned disk to the machine to boot from. The machine recognises that the disk is present and gets as far as "Checking NVRAM" and then restarts and does exactly the same thing again and again. What am I doing wrong????

What version and build number of True Image are you using?
If your OS is Windows 7 boot with the win 7 dvd and try the repair function.
Did you do the Clone from the installed software or from the Rescue CD?
